Knitwear brand brief

When applying for jobs i was asked by a knitwear brand to curate a mini children's wear and women's wear collection. Due to the company's link with welsh heritage and knit patterns i wanted to include a welsh flare to the collection in a gentle way. Wales is known for its beautiful landscapes, music and traditions. Wales also has its own mythology/ folklore from a book called "The Mabinogion". As this collection is for children and women i wanted to use a story called 'The Lady of the Lake'. This story invites us to reconnect with the magic of our inner child and heritage of wales through the surface pattern and clothing designs.
